Pharmacy
Our Clinical Pharmacy Services team offers flexible, evidence-based pharmacy management solutions and resources to help our clients build fiscally efficient pharmacy programs.
With a consulting team that includes more than 60 clinical pharmacists — half of whom have doctoral pharmacy degrees — we deliver cost-containment and disease-management strategies that support positive clinical outcomes.
- Data analytics
Our pharmacists analyze medical and pharmacy claims data. Then we develop recommendations designed to advance health care outcomes and contain or reduce costs. - Drug utilization review
We develop prospective and retrospective drug utilization review programs. We also consult on and support drug utilization review boards as well as pharmacy and therapeutics committees. - Formulary management
We base our formulary management recommendations on in-depth safety, efficacy, and cost analyses conducted by our pharmacists. - Medication therapy management
Our programs ensure that patients are receiving medications that most fully control their diseases or conditions — and that they’re using them correctly. - New drug review
Our in-depth, up-to-date reviews detail both clinical and fiscal implications of new drugs — within 10 days of their market availability. - Pharmacoeconomic modeling
Using evidence-based modeling, we determine whether products and treatments are clinically and economically sound. - Prescriber education
After reviewing client data, our prescriber education team collaborates with providers to improve their adherence to formularies and preferred drug lists.
