Catie Geary performs policy and data analyses of health care and human services topics for government and non-profit clients. Her project work includes conducting key informant interviews and literature reviews, synthesizing study findings for public reports, and stakeholder engagement. Geary’s particular areas of interest include integrated care programs for people eligible for Medicaid and Medicare with complex health conditions, and behavioral health services for individuals and families.
Prior to joining Commonwealth Medicine, Geary worked at the Massachusetts Health Connector, specializing in operations, eligibility, and the system development life cycle. In addition, Geary has experience in the non-profit and policy fields. She served as an early childhood policy advocate in Washington, D.C., and as an intern in federal and non-profit offices.
Geary earned a master’s degree in public health from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree in political science and CLEG (Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, Government) from American University, where she also received a Certificate in Women, Policy, and Political Leadership.
