Dimitrios Tramboulakis provides daily direction and operational leadership for the Strategic Growth and Business Development team. He possesses over a decade of business leadership experience, and leads the Business Development team in pursuing new opportunities through requests for proposals, market research, and sourcing.
Before coming to UMass Medical School, Tramboulakis led a skilled team of project management professionals as director of proposal development at C&W Services. In this position, he helped increase annual average sales for four consecutive years and directed the launch of a dedicated business development center sales tool. He also oversaw the development of over 200 bids annually which led to an average of $100 million worth of new business.
Tramboulakis has an extensive background in marketing and sales, previously working as a business development manager for Unidine. There, he oversaw all marketing material development and increased customer responses to sourcing by 10 percent. He also generated healthy quarterly sales as the co-founder of his own business, EuroPaint.
Tramboulakis earned his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He also received both a Bachelor in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell.
