Gina Beauchemin has more than 30 years of experience as a pharmacist. As manager of pharmacy operations for Clinical Pharmacy Service, she oversees call center programs and clinical and administrative functions s. Her responsibilities include budget management, contract deliverables, quality assurance review, and metrics.
Beauchemin supervises training for more than 50 Commonwealth Medicine pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and has a lead role in developing customized clinical prior authorization policies and point-of-sale rules within pharmacy claims processing systems. She applies her outstanding leadership and communication skills to support Commonwealth Medicine clients in implementing best practices in operations and clinical guidelines throughout pharmacy call centers and drug utilization review.
Before joining Commonwealth Medicine, Beauchemin spent 22 years at CVS, where she served as a pharmacist and pharmacist manager.
Beauchemin earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Boston.
