Kathleen Nichols has more than 20 years of public- and private-sector experience in customer service, community health outreach, and business management, and with the disability determination process.
Since joining UMass Chan Medical School in 2000, Nichols has led numerous customer service and quality improvement initiatives. She provides expedited disability application liaison services to MassHealth Enrollment Centers and Department of Transitional Assistance offices. She also performs statewide disability evaluation services outreach to Massachusetts hospitals and health care providers, and oversees the customer service process in the disability determinations area.
Prior to joining UMass Chan Medical School, Nichols provided customer service and community education services to MassHealth and the Paul Revere Life Insurance Company.
