Paul Brassil is responsible for shaping and leading innovative information technology (IT) initiatives that support Commonwealth Medicine’s enterprise systems architecture. He oversees the strategic utilization of IT to support overall business goals and the organization’s ability to create value for our staff and clients. He focuses on developing a nimble, cost-effective, and sustainable technology infrastructure and operating model, employing the most advanced digital tools and applications.
Brassil joined Commonwealth Medicine from Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, where he served as vice president for information technology. In this role, he was responsible for all central IT functions, including application development and support, project management, business relationship management, information security/cybersecurity solutions and compliance, and local desktop, voice, mobile device and network services.
Previously, Brassil was senior director, solutions delivery, at EMC Corporation (now Dell EMC), where he was responsible for the company’s global services applications. Prior to EMC, he served in senior technology roles at leading IT companies such as Prime Array Systems, Siemens, and Simplex-IMB.
Brassil earned a Master of Science in computer information systems from Bentley University.
