In addition to serving as clinical consultant pharmacist for Clinical Pharmacy Services under our Clinical Delivery Solution, Tasmina Hydery is also an assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health at University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Hydery serves as a clinical pharmacist leading the implementation of formulary initiatives for specialty pharmaceutical medications for the Massachusetts Medicaid (MassHealth) pharmacy program. As a content expert for various therapeutic classes, Hydery plays a key role in developing comprehensive internal guidelines, analyzing and reporting drug utilization, and reviewing complex clinical cases. She also reviews new molecular entities, generics, and biosimilars in the pipeline to forecast the financial impact of new treatments on the MassHealth pharmacy program. She has also taken an active role in proposing innovative strategies in value-based pricing to benefit health plans, patients, and members of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
In addition to her roles and responsibilities as a clinical consultant pharmacist, Hydery is a preceptor for pharmacy students, medical students, and PGY1 managed pharmacy residents. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and Master of Business Administration from Boston College, Carroll School of Management.
