Wendy Trafton's expertise is in long-term services and supports (LTSS), including financing and delivery, systems change initiatives, and stakeholder engagement.
Ms. Trafton provided policy and program development support for several LTSS rebalancing and health care reform initiatives, including Massachusetts Medicaid program’s Money Follows the Person Demonstration Program and Demonstration to Integrate Care for Dual Eligible Individuals (One Care). She also supported a committee engaged in program improvement activities related to the MassHealth Personal Care Attendant Program and the state's Long-Term Care Financing Advisory Committee. She has served as the project director for the Massachusetts State Profile Tool grant, and an analyst for the Commonwealth’s Systems Transformation Grant.
Ms. Trafton holds a master's in public health with a concentration in Health Policy and Management from Boston University School of Public Health, and a bachelor's degree in American Studies and Political Science from University of Colorado at Boulder.
